Von der Welt enttäuscht und ohne großes Gepäck hattest Du eines Abends auf einem kleinen Schiff im Hafen angeheuert. Noch in der Nacht hattest Du Deiner ersten Fahrt entgegengefiebert und davon geträumt, Deine schmerzvolle Vergangenheit hinter Dir zu lassen und voller Hoffnungen endlich in ein neues Leben aufzubrechen.

Doch es kam alles anders …

Kaum in See gestochen, wurde das Schiff vollkommen unerwartet von Piraten angegriffen. „Piraten!“, schreist Du noch, doch es war zu spät …

Die erste Kanonenkugel traf den schon vom Salzwasser zerfressenen Segelmast vor Dir. Berstendes Holz schleuderte Dir an den Kopf und ehe Du Dich versahst, hattest Du bereits Dein Bewusstsein verloren und warst zu Boden gesunken.

Das Schiff wurde gekapert und der Großteil der Besatzung niedergemetzelt – ein kleiner Rest wurde verschleppt und versklavt. Du hattest mit einer blutenden Wunde am Kopf auf dem Boden gelegen. Das war Dein Glück, denn man hielt Dich für tot und ließ Dich liegen.

Als Du langsam wieder zur Besinnung kamst, stelltest Du fest, dass Du der einzige Überlebende Deiner Crew warst – und noch dazu im Besitz dieses kleinen Schiffes. Doch zurück in Dein altes Leben wolltest Du nicht; und so blieb Dir nur die abenteuerliche Flucht nach vorn …

Nun ist es an Dir, durch eine Welt voller Abenteuer zu segeln, eine eigene Crew anzuheuern und Dir einen ehrenvollen Namen als Pirat zu machen, der auf allen Ozeanen der Welt gefürchtet wird
